Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Javna vatrogasna postrojba Grada Samobora je javna gradska ustanova, koja u okvirima vatrogasne djelatnosti skrbi o  potrebama i interesima građana na svom području za organiziranjem i djelovanjem učinkovite vatrogasne službe. Osnovana je 31.08.2010. godine za područje grada Samobora. Osnivač Javne vatrogasne postrojbe Grada Samobora je Gradsko poglavarstvo Grada Samobora. Počeci profesionalne vatrogasne službe sežu u 1967. godinu  kada je zbog sve većeg broja požara na inicijativu ondašnje Općinske skupštine odlučeno da se  zaposli  5 profesionalnih vatrogasaca, koji su bili u stalnom  24 satnom  dežurstvu i formacijski su spadali pod  Sekretarijat za unutrašnje poslove općine Samobor, a smješteni su bili u prostorima DVD-a Samobor. Takva organizacija vatrogastva ostaje do 01.07. 1982. godine kada se u Samoboru osniva Centar za protupožarnu zaštitu i vatrogastvo koji djeluje sve do kraja 1993. godine, točnije 31.12.1993. kada vatrogasci prelaze u nadležnost Ministarstva unutarnjih poslova. Kao i većina gradova u Republici Hrvatskoj, primjenom Zakona o vatrogastvu ( iz 1999. godine ) nakon decentralizacije profesionalnog vatrogastva iz Ministarstva unutarnjih poslova grad Samobor je 31.08.2000. godine  osnovao Javnu vatrogasnu postrojbu Grada Samobora. Od predviđenih 27 vatrogasaca trenutno je sa zapovjednikom postaje 24 vatrogasca.

The beginnings of the professional fire service go back to 1967, when, due to the increasing number of fires, on the initiative of the then Municipal Assembly, it was decided to hire 5 professional firefighters, who were on permanent 24-hour duty and formed part of the Secretariat for Internal Affairs of the Municipality of Samobor, and they were located in the premises of DVD Samobor. Such organization of the fire department will remain until 01.07. In 1982, when the Center for Fire Protection and Firefighting was established in Samobor, it operated until the end of 1993, to be precise on 12/31/1993. when firefighters come under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Interior. Like most cities in the Republic of Croatia, with the application of the Law on Firefighting (from 1999) after the decentralization of professional firefighting from the Ministry of the Interior, the city of Samobor became the city of Samobor on August 31, 2000. founded the Public Fire Department of the City of Samobor. Out of the planned 27 firefighters, 24 firefighters are currently with the station commander.
