Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Na inicijativu skupine građana Općine Stupnik, dana 31. ožujka 2000. godine održan je sastanak Inicijativnog odbora na temu potrebe osnivanja Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva (DVD) na području Općine Stupnik. Samo dva tjedna kasnije, 16. travnja 2000., održana je i sjednica Osnivačke Skupštine na kojoj je izabrano rukovodstvo među 39 prisutnih članova.Tako su povjerenje za prve funkcije unutar DVD-a Stupnik dobili: van Klemenčić – predsjednik Darko Razum – zapovjednik Dubravko Miholić – tajnik Nenad Franković – blagajnik Upis Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva Stupnik (DVD Stupnik) u Registar udruga izvršen je dana 25. svibnja 2000. godine, te od tada i počinje ozbiljan posao oko ustrojstva društva. Do kraja 2000. godine, DVD Stupnik broji 46 članova, od kojih je 27 uspješno položilo tečaj za ispitnog vatrogasca.

Vatrogasni dom “Ivan Klemenčić”

Još jedan od postavljenih ciljeva je bio i izgradnja vatrogasnog doma. U periodu do izgradnje i puštanja u funkciju “Vatrogasnog doma Stupnik”, privremeni smještaj vatrogasne opreme Društva bio je u privatnom gospodarskom objektu osnivača i prvog predsjednika DVD-a g. Ivana Klemenčić, dok je Operativni centar bio smješten u njegovoj obiteljskoj kući. U narednom periodu ishodovali smo svu potrebnu dokumentaciju, dozvole i suglasnosti te smo prionuli na poslove oko realizacije našeg cilja, te 2005. godine krenuli u izgradnju Vatrogasnog doma, na adresi Domovićeva 1, Gornji Stupnik. Samo dvije godine kasnije (listopad 2007.), uselili smo u novoizgrađene prostorije jednog od najljepših i najmodernijih vatrogasnih domova na ovim prostorima – “Vatrogasni dom Stupnik”. Zalaganje i doprinos tijekom kompletne izgradnje doma pokazali su svi članovi DVD-a Stupnik, a ponajviše predsjednik g. Ivan Klemenčić. 2018. godine u spomen na, sada već pokojnog, predsjednika, osnivača i utemeljitelja vatrogastva na području Općine Stupnik – g. Ivana Klemenčić, Društvo je odlučilo u znak zahvalnosti dodijeliti novi naziv Domu te je tako isti preimenovan u – “Vatrogasni dom Ivan Klemenčić”.

Just two weeks later, on April 16, 2000, a session of the Founding Assembly was held where the management was elected from among the 39 members present. "Ivan Klemenčić" fire station

Another of the set goals was the construction of a fire station. In the period until the construction and commissioning of the "Stupnik Fire Station", the temporary accommodation of the Company's firefighting equipment was in the private commercial building of the founder and first president of DVD, Mr. Ivan Klemenčić, while the Operations Center was located in his family home. In the following period, we obtained all the necessary documentation, permits and approvals, and we started working on the realization of our goal, and in 2005 we started the construction of the Fire Station, at the address Domovićeva 1, Gornji Stupnik. Just two years later (October 2007), we moved into the newly built premises of one of the most beautiful and modern fire stations in this area - "Stupnik Fire Station". Commitment and contribution during the complete construction of the home was shown by all members of DVD Stupnik, and above all by the president, Mr. Ivan Klemenčić. In 2018, in memory of the now deceased president, founder and founder of the fire brigade in the area of Stupnik municipality - Mr. Ivan Klemenčić, the Society decided to give a new name to the Home as a sign of gratitude, and thus it was renamed to - "Firehouse Ivan Klemenčić" .
