Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo Otok osnovan je 25.kolovoza 1929. godine kada se sastalo 22 mještana sela Otok u kući mještanina Ljudevita Ivanca. Tog ljetnog predvečerja okupili su se da osnuju dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo. Na tom sastanku osnovali su društvo, a odmah između sebe podijelili određene dužnosti. Tako je za prvog predsjednika izabran Franjo Obranić, za zapovjednika Ljudevit Ivanec, za njegovog zamjenika Marko Horvat, tajnika Tomo obranić, blagajnika Marko Vitko, za nadzornog odbornika Andro Husta dok su izvršujući članovi bili Mihael Obranić, Juro Jantolić, Juro Husta, Adam Gorišek, Ivan Golub, Martin Koletić, Ivan Jantolić, Mijo Vitko, Vid Gorišek, Ivan Telišman, Štefan Vukovinski, Juro Herger, Franjo Husta, Juro Horvat, Marcel Škrobot i Petar Obranić. Prve akcije članovi prikupljaju priloge u novcu, kukuruzu ili vinu.

The Otok volunteer fire brigade was founded on August 25, 1929, when 22 residents of the village of Otok met in the house of local resident Ljudevit Ivanac. On that summer eve, they gathered to found a volunteer fire department. At that meeting, they founded a company, and immediately divided certain duties between them. Thus, Franjo Obranić was elected as the first president, Ljudevit Ivanec as commander, Marko Horvat as his deputy, Tomo obranić as secretary, Marko Vitko as treasurer, Andro Hust as supervisory board member, while the executive members were Mihael Obranić, Juro Jantolić, Juro Husta, Adam Gorišek, Ivan Golub, Martin Koletić, Ivan Jantolić, Mijo Vitko, Vid Gorišek, Ivan Telišman, Štefan Vukovinski, Juro Herger, Franjo Husta, Juro Horvat, Marcel Škrobot and Petar Obranić. In the first campaigns, members collect contributions in money, corn or wine.
