Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Povijest dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva Ostrna počinje 1928. godine kad su mještani svojim radom i uz pomoć tadašnjeg Općinskog poglavarstva izgradili školu i na učiteljsko mjesto došao je iz Koprivnice Kazimir Sabol. 1929.godine sa nekolicinom mještana pokreće osnivanje dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva. Među osnivačima bili su Franjo Harambaša prvi predsjednik društva, Josip Novak tajnik, Tomo Jambrek zapovjednik. Nesebičnom pomoću mještana 1931. izgradili su vatrogasni dom.
