
Amblem društva je u obliku štita sa crvenom podlogom na kojem se nalazi vatrogasna kaciga iza koje se nalaze ukrštena vatrogasna sjekirica i baklja. Na vrhu štita napisano je vatrogastvo dok se ispod vatrogasnih simbola nalazi naziv D.V.D. Bistra u žutoj boji.
27.03.1937. – održan je sastanak Osnivačkog odbora, te je izabrana privremena Uprava u sastavu, Mikuš Mijo predsjednik, Brlek Milan tajnik i Rogina Janko blagajnik.
05.03.1939 – održana prva Skupština Društva, te je izabrano i stalno rukovodstvo na vrijeme od godinu dana. Prvoj skupštini bilo je prisutno 53 aktivna i 12 pomažućih članova. Iste godine je sredstvima prikupljenim od osnivača i članova kupljena ručna vatrogasna šprica od dobavljača iz Popovače – ista je još uvijek u vlasništvu Društva.
1943. – 1946. godine Društvo prestaje sa aktivnim djelovanjem
1947. godine prilikom agrarne reforme društvu se dodjeljuje zemljište od 1 jutra, a godinu dana kasnije i drvena kuća Vihnal Marije (Karijon), te se na taj način počinje rješavati pitanje spremišta i prostorija potrebnih za rad Društva.
1953. godina započela je gradnja drvenog vatrogasnog doma na dodijeljenom zemljištu – radovi su obavljani dobrovoljnim radom, te dobrovoljnim prilozima.
1955. godina preseljenja je sva oprema iz zidane šupe iza Općinske zgrade u novoizgrađeni vatrogasni dom. Postojeća šupa u kojoj se do tada nalazila oprema se urušila.
1958. godina kupljen vatrogasni agregat marke „Illo“ u preuzet u Vatrogasnoj brigadi Zagreb. Iste godine su nabavljena i dva automobila marke „Moris“ u rashodovanom stanju, jedan na otpadu, a drugi u PTT-u. Dobrovoljnim radom je jedan osposobljen za upotrebu.
1968. godine društvo prestaje s aktivnošću, te je iste godine Mjesna zajednica prodala pola zemljišta dodijeljenog Društvu privatnoj osobi.
1975. godine ponovno pokrenut rad Društva, zahvaljujući Belušić Marijanu i Savnik Ivanu. Osim toga započinju radovi gradnje novog spremišta. više na stranici DVD-a Bistra

- 27.03.1937 – A meeting of the Founding Committee was held, and a temporary governing body was elected, consisting of: Mikuš Mijo (President), Brlek Milan (Secretary), and Rogina Janko (Treasurer).
- 05.03.1939 – The first General Assembly of the Society was held, and the first permanent leadership was elected for a term of one year. There were 53 active and 12 assisting/supporting members present.
That same year, using funds collected from the founders and members, a manual fire pump was purchased from a supplier in Popovača—and it is still owned by the Society today.
- 1943–1946 – The Society ceased active operations.
- 1947 – During the agrarian reform, the Society was granted land of 1 “jutro” (an agricultural unit of area). A year later, it was also granted a wooden house, Vihnal Marije (Karijon), which began to solve the issue of obtaining storage facilities and the premises needed for the Society’s work.
- 1953 – Construction of a wooden fire station began on the allocated land. The work was carried out through voluntary labor and voluntary contributions.
- 1955 – Relocation: all equipment was moved from the brick shed behind the Municipal Building to the newly built fire station. The existing shed, where the equipment had been stored until then, collapsed.
- 1958 – A fire engine/pump aggregate of the brand “Illo” was purchased and taken over from the Fire Brigade Zagreb.
That same year, two cars of the brand “Morris” were obtained in surplus/retired condition—one was on the scrapyard, and the other was in the post office (PTT). Through voluntary work, one of them was made operational.
- 1968 – The Society stopped active operations, and that same year the Local Community sold half of the land assigned to the Society to a private person.
- 1975 – The Society’s activities were restarted thanks to Belušić Marijan and Savnik Ivan. In addition, construction work for a new storage facility began.
