Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Krajem lipnja 1947. godine u mjestu Gornje Bazje, nedaleko od državne granice s Mađarskom, osnovano je istoimeno Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo. Od tada do danas oko DVD-a okupljaju se brojni mještani kojima je vatrogastvo postalo dio života. Posljednjih petnaestak godina DVD djeluje u novom prostoru, zgradi koja je izgrađena uz Društveni dom i ljekarnu, a na kojoj bi im pozavidjeli i brojni veći DVD-ovi. U prizemlju su garaže za vatrogasna vozila i opremu, a na katu prostorije za okupljanje. U modernoj garaži danas su tri vozila. Navalno vozilo Iveco 120 25 AHW, sa spremnikom za vodu od 2000 l i spremnikom za pjenilo 200 l. Vozilo ima opremu za gašenje požara, aparate za zaštitu dišnih organa, hidrauličke alate za tehničke intervencije te pneumatske zračne jastuke. Tehničko vozilo Iveco Magirus 80-16 A, bez spremnika za vodu s vatrogasnom prijenosnom pumpom, potopnom pumpom i centrifugalnom pumpom, cijevima i ostalom opremom za tehničke opreme. Uz njih je parkirano i kombi vozilo za prijevoz ljudi i opreme marke Renault Trafic. Vozila su donacija vatrogasaca iz austrijske pokrajine Tirol, a kombi je nabavljen uz pomoć Virovitičko-podravske županije. Upravo zbog dolaska dva vozila iz Tirola prije dvije godine obnovljena je garaža, postavljena je i nova stolarija u prostorijama na katu. U idućih godinu-dvije u planu je i energetska obnova vatrogasnih prostorija i garaže u Gornjem Bazju. Danas DVD Gornje Bazje okuplja više od 100 članova, među kojima je 20 operativaca, 30 članova pomlatka i 12 članova mladeži te je stožerno vatrogasno društvo na području općine Lukač.

At the end of June 1947, the Voluntary Fire Brigade of the same name was founded in Gornje Bazje, not far from the state border with Hungary. From then until today, many locals have gathered around the DVD, for whom firefighting has become a part of life. For the last fifteen years, DVD has been operating in a new space, a building that was built next to the Community Center and the pharmacy, and which would be the envy of many larger DVDs. On the ground floor there are garages for fire trucks and equipment, and on the first floor there are meeting rooms. There are three vehicles in the modern garage today. Iveco 120 25 AHW asphalt truck, with 2000 l water tank and 200 l foam tank. The vehicle has fire extinguishing equipment, respiratory protection devices, hydraulic tools for technical interventions and pneumatic airbags. Technical vehicle Iveco Magirus 80-16 A, without water tank with fire portable pump, submersible pump and centrifugal pump, pipes and other equipment for technical equipment. A Renault Trafic van for transporting people and equipment was parked next to them. The vehicles were donated by firefighters from the Austrian province of Tyrol, and the van was procured with the help of Virovitica-Podravina County. Precisely due to the arrival of two vehicles from Tyrol, the garage was renovated two years ago, and new carpentry was installed in the upstairs rooms. In the next year or two, the energy renovation of the fire rooms and garage in Gornji Bazje is also planned. Today, DVD Gornje Bazje gathers more than 100 members, including 20 operatives, 30 members of the youth and 12 members of the youth, and is the main fire brigade in the municipality of Lukač.
