Vatrogasni centar Beli Manastir ponovno mijenja naziv 1979. godine u "Profesionalna vatrogasna jedinica općine Beli Manastir". Vatrogasna postaja Beli Manastir u sustavu Vatrogasne postrojbe Osijek djeluje do 31. 12.1999. godine.
In the town of Beli Manastir, firefighting has been carried out by the Beli Manastir Volunteer Fire Department since 1928. The fire station at Vladana Desnice 2 was built in 1965. A professional fire department was reorganized and established on April 1, 1968, under the name "Permanent Fire Department" with 14 firefighters, which operated until 1971, when the unit changed its name to "Beli Manastir Fire Department". With the change in name, the scope of work (activity) in the unit increased, because as part of the fire department, an ambulance with 5 vehicles and drivers operates. The medical team is located in the Beli Manastir Health Center. The unit also operates a service for passenger vehicles (auto mechanics, bodywork and auto painting works). The number of employees has also increased to 27 employees. The Beli Manastir Fire Department changed its name again in 1979 to "Professional Fire Department of the Municipality of Beli Manastir". By force of law, the ambulance returned to the Health Center, and the car service also ceased to operate. The professional fire department of the Beli Manastir Municipality operated until the aggression against Baranja and the Republic of Croatia in 1991. Some of the workers were expelled from Baranja, while others remained to work in the Unit. The commanders of the Fire Department from its establishment until the Homeland War were: Svetozar Vakanjac, Ivan Kolarić acting, Stevan Medić, Rudolf Tkalec and Franjo Bartolić. With the peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danube region and Baranja, it was returned to the constitutional and legal order of the Republic of Croatia. As professional fire departments on the free territory of the Republic of Croatia became a systematic part of the Ministry of the Interior in 1994, the former Professional Fire Department of the Beli Manastir Municipality was taken over by the Ministry of the Interior on October 15, 1997. The Beli Manastir Fire Department operated within the Osijek Fire Department until December 31, 1999.
