Gasilska brigada Ljubljana, koja je osnovana 1922. godine, najstarija je profesionalna vatrogasna brigada u Sloveniji. U njemu su kroz desetljeća djelovali mnogi dobri i srdačni ljudi koji su više puta dokazali svoju privrženost vatrogasnoj ideji. Međutim, nisu zahtijevali niti očekivali javno priznanje i slavu za svoj trud. Na ovim stranicama želimo prikazati barem djelić naše povijesti, organizacije, opremljenosti i djelovanja naše postrojbe. Nadam se da će ova prezentacija zadovoljiti Vašu znatiželju, a ujedno doprinijeti boljem upoznavanju našeg rada, želja i postavljenih ciljeva. Vatrogasna brigada Ljubljana uvijek je poseban naglasak stavljala na suvremenu tehnologiju i njezinu pravilnu upotrebu. Upravo je zato mnogi uzimaju za primjer i pokušavaju je slijediti s tehničke strane. No, vrlo je zanimljivo koliko su poznati zapovjednici ove postrojbe u proteklom razdoblju isticali kako je vatrogastvo djelatnost koja prvenstveno ovisi o ljudima. Tako je Milan Vrhovec (zapovjednik Vatrogasne zajednice u razdoblju 1959.-1966.) svojedobno zapisao: „Taktika bez tehnike je nemoćna, tehnika bez taktike je besmislena“. Još su nedvosmislenije riječi Janeza Furlana (zapovjednik Ljubljanske profesionalne čete prije Drugoga svjetskog rata) o vatrogastvu, a u potpunosti vrijede i danas: „U vatrogastvu imamo tri glavna faktora: - materijal ili alat koji koristimo u radu; – tim koji radi s alatom; – zapovjednik koji sve ovo vodi.” Samo oruđe je mrtva stvar, samo tim i zapovjednik daju oruđu život i kretanje. Ova tri agenta imaju zadatak ispravno obaviti posao. Ako želimo da posao bude uspješan, među njima mora postojati ozbiljan odnos. Što je zadaća veća i teža, oruđe bolje i potpunije, ekipa brojnija i vještija, gospodarenje pametnije, da posao bude uspješan. više na GB LJUBLJANA
The Ljubljana Fire Brigade, which was founded in 1922, is the oldest professional fire brigade in Slovenia. Over many decades, many good and warm-hearted people have worked in it, who have repeatedly proven their dedication to the idea of firefighting. However, they neither demanded nor expected public recognition and fame for their efforts. On these pages, we would like to present at least a part of our history, organization, equipment and activities of our unit. I hope that this presentation will satisfy your curiosity and at the same time contribute to a better knowledge of our work, wishes and set goals. The Ljubljana Fire Brigade has always placed special emphasis on modern technology and its correct use. This is exactly why many people take her as an example and try to follow her on the technical side. However, it is very interesting how many well-known commanders of this unit have emphasized in the past that firefighting is an activity that primarily depends on people. Thus, Milan Vrhovec (commander of the Fire Brigade in the period 1959-1966) once wrote: "Tactics without technique are powerless, technique without tactics is meaningless". Even more unequivocal are the words written by Janez Furlan (Commander of the Ljubljana Professional Company before World War II) about the fire service, and they are still fully true today: "In the fire department, we have three main factors: - material or tools we use at work; – the team that works with the tool; – the commander who leads all this.” The tool itself is a dead thing, only the team and the commander give the tool life and movement. These three agents have the task of carrying out the work correctly. If we want the work to be successful, there must be a serious relationship between them. The bigger and more difficult the task, the better and more complete the tools, the more numerous and skilled the team, the more intelligent the management, so that the work can be successful.
