Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Na trećem kupu vatrogasne zajednice Dalmacije i 4. kupu HVZ-a tijekom subote u Makarskoj se okupilo oko 370 natjecatelja. U dvije natjecateljske discipline, vježbi s motornom štrcaljkom i polaganju tlačnih cijevi, te u štafetnoj utrci 8 puta 50 metara ogledalo se 12 ženskih ekipa sa 120 gasiteljica, i 25 muških timova sa 250 vatrogasaca. Ujedno je bila i proba za ekipe koje idu na olimpijadu u Ostravu. Samo matjecanje održano je 18. travnja 2009. godine u Makarskoj. Natjecanje se odvijalo na stadionu Gradskog športskog centra s početkom u 09:00 sati.Ovo natjecanje organizirala je Vatrogasna zajednica Splitsko-dalmatinske županije u suradnji s Hrvatskom vatrogasnom zajednicom (HVZ). Kup je ujedno služio kao 1. kolo 4. kupa HVZ-a.

At the third Firefighting Association of Dalmatia Cup and the 4th HVZ Cup, held on Saturday in Makarska, around 370 competitors gathered. In two competitive disciplines—the motor pump drill and hose-laying exercise—and in the 8×50-metre relay race, 12 women’s teams with 120 female firefighters and 25 men’s teams with 250 firefighters took part. It also served as a trial event for the teams preparing for the Olympics in Ostrava. The competition itself was held on 18 April 2009 in Makarska. It took place at the City Sports Centre stadium, starting at 9:00 a.m. The event was organised by the Firefighting Association of Split-Dalmatia County in cooperation with the Croatian Firefighting Association (HVZ). The Cup also served as the first round of the 4th HVZ Cup.
